Rowan Regional Medical Center has made great strides thanks largely to the generous support of the community it serves. Funds for the original hospital building were raised through a community drive that brought gifts ranging from thousands of business dollars to the pennies of Rowan County school children. Millions of dollars in private gifts have been received through the years.
